The November Debrief Nobody Asked For
November was the month I finally rage-quit social media after getting duped by AI one too many times. What started as a dramatic spiral turned into something surprisingly grounding: reconnecting with my own website, picking up my real cameras again, reading actual books, and trying to figure out how to fill the suddenly long, quiet evenings. Between volunteering, buying half a cow and half a hog from a local ranch, starting new winter habits, collecting handwritten recipes from friends, and squeezing in some late-fall shenanigans in the Wood River Valley, November turned out to be a lot more eventful than expected. It wasn’t the month I planned, but it was definitely the month I needed.
